The High School Journal is published four times a year by UNC's School of Education as a service to the education profession. Concerned with teaching, learning, and administration, it seeks to further the reflective examination of the broad field of secondary education by reporting research, informed Opinion, and occasionally, successful practices dealing with adolescent growth and development and the secondary school. Founded in 1918, it is one of the oldest journals in education and the only nationally circulated journal of its kind.
